Vertical thermosilos for bitumen ST-B

Vertical thermosilos for storing normal and modified bitumens for installation at bituminous conglomerate production plants.

The silos engineered and manufactured by Bruno Group observe all the rules in force and they can be supplied with two different heating technologies: electric or diathermic oil heating

The two systems are both efficient, but they exhibit some differences in terms of operating costs and energy consumption.

The vertical thermosilos manufactured by our company are insulated by a rock wool layer for avoidance of heat loss; moreover, our innovative heating system of vertical thermosilos for bitumen enables the operator to draw even small bitumen quantities where appropriate without having to heat the whole content (as in the case of horizontal tanks), thus saving over 50% energy.

The tanks are equipped with an electric board enabling the operator to control the internal bitumen temperature thanks to the electronic sensors placed on the tank shell; moreover, it is possible to control any other handling process for load and unload.

Moreover, it is possible to supply thermosilos in any other size, made to measure according to the customer’s needs.
