Motorspray

Manual bituminous emulsion sprayers (also called motor-driven sprayers for emulsion) are used mainly for small road maintenance works; they are simple, reliable and flexible machines and they have a wide range of possible applications.

The machine is supplied by a 5 HP (petrol or diesel) engine powered on by a recoil starter; an automatic centrifugal clutch enables the operator to start and stop spraying by operating a special gear pump equipped with a heat storage tank (heated by the engine exhaust gas).

Our manual sprayers for bituminous emulsion can be supplied in 2 variants, with or without trolley, according to the type of application.

If the version is complete with a trolley, the support frame has a drawbar placed on the front wheel enabling the operator to move the machine manually; the engine and the pumping system are covered by an iron roof or by a fibre glass hood (optional).

The bituminous emulsion is directly drawn from the drum through a dip tube complete with filter.

Spraying occurs through a nozzle (with concentric distribution) placed at the end of the manual gun so as to reach the most difficult points of the road bed.

The machines complete with a trolley also have a seat where to load emulsion drums.

At the end of work, the machine must be cleaned by aspirating gas oil from the dip tube and letting it flow through the whole circuit.
